Where to Eat & Drink

Napoleon House (French Quarter: $$): The least tourist trappy of the Quarter 'historical old building tourist traps.' This was very nearly our wedding venue! Famous for its Pimms Cup.

Cafe Beignet (French Quarter: $): Not as famous as Cafe du Monde but better beignets!

Jewel of the South (French Quarter: $$$) The food is good but the cocktails earned them the title "Best Bar in the South" for 2023 and 2024. Reservations recommended.

Erin Rose (French Quarter: $): Irish pub famous for their frozen Irish coffee.

Cochon (City Center: $$$) or Cochon Butcher ($): Cochon for excellent Cajun & pork dishes; Cochon Butcher for lunch or a quick dinner at a good price.

Elizabeth's (Bywater: $$): Breakfast & Brunch!

Bacchanal Wine & Spirits (Bywater: $$) A patio wine bar with mostly small plates and cheese.

La Petite Grocery (Uptown: $$$): One of the best meals we've had in NOLA. A great way to finish an evening after shopping on Magazine St! Reservations required.
